Nathan joined Forum as a tenant in October 2016 following successful completion of his Third Six Pupillage. Nathan practises in all areas of Chambers’ work but has particular interest in commercial law, professional negligence and property. He also retains an interest in media law having undertaken pupillage at a leading media law set.

Court Experience: Nathan has appeared in the High Court winding up list and in the County Court on winding up and bankruptcy petitions as well as on applications concerning possession proceedings, strike out/summary judgment and charging orders. He has also conducted small claims trials dealing with contract and consumer credit law issues.

Advisory work: Since joining Forum, Nathan has assisted members of Chambers with their complex written work on a wide range of matters. He has also accepted instructions in his own name, providing advice on contractual matters.
Commercial Experience: Nathan joined Forum after pupillage at One Brick Court and a year working as an employed barrister at RPC, as well as working as a night lawyer for Associated Newspapers Ltd.

Nathan’s experience at RPC gives him an excellent understanding of how solicitors’ firms work and what they expect from the Bar.

Solicitors have said that they “would not hesitate in instructing Nathan again”.
